Apollo 11 Space Mission: How the astronauts almost didn’t make it back

Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins were a part of the Apollo 11 crew. Apollo 11 spaceflight was the first to land humans on the Moon. They suffered a snag during their journey to the Moon’s surface on the lunar module ‘Eagle’. A circuit breaker had broken off which was crucial to bringing Armstrong and Aldrin back from the moon. The only other option they had left was to push ‘Eagle’ hours before lift-off without the circuit breaker. As luck would have it, Aldrin was carrying a felt tip pen which he used to push the circuit breaker back in. The pen did the trick else they were as good as dead.
