Police in Hong Kong have fired tear gas to break up protests after one group began throwing bricks and vandalising a police station.

Some blocked the entrance to a major tunnel, disrupting traffic in a normally busy shopping district. It's now the ninth consecutive week of mass protests - with public anger at the authorities showing little sign of dying down - as Ed Howker reports.
